Aveda Color Karma

Altering your hair color often represents a deeper desire for change. So when Aveda asked us to create awareness for their new line of women's color uniquely developed to each individual, we created the type of personalized adventures many of us hope will be brought about by our updated look. A notion we called "Color Karma."

We ramped up excitement for the new line of color--and the prospect of coloring your hair-- by creating a site that let users find their Color Karma.

After answering a few basic questions, each user received a unique “karma” and a glimpse at how changing her hair color could change everything else in her life, too.

Facebook Connect allowed us to pull FB pics, and plug in specific details (city, friends' names, favorite book, hobby), to add surprise and delight to the whole experience.

The site earned a 2011 Webby nomination.
